Egypt's Mohammed Morsi faces espionage trial on February 16

(VOVworld)-The trial of ousted president Mohammed Morsi and 35 others on charges of espionage in collaboration with Hamas, and other militant groups to commit acts of terrorism will begin on February 16. The other charges against Morsi include inciting the murder of his opponents, organizing a prison break and killing policemen during the 2011 uprising. If found guilty, Morsi could face a life sentence or the death penalty.
