(VOVworld) – On Thursday a delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Vice President Nguyen Van Pha overhauled preparations for the National Assembly and People’s Council elections in Tra Vinh province. Mr. Pha asked the province to focus on oversight and help the candidates in their campaigns.The same day, a delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee led by committee member Phan Xuan Dung visited Vinh Long province to evaluate its preparations for the upcoming elections. Mr. Dung said the province should step up communications on the people’s responsibility and right to vote, particularly in remote, religious, and ethnic areas.
