The study which was conducted in five cities of Vietnam and released on Tuesday, also showed that electric vehicles with two wheels are more widely adopted than four wheels. Most of the surveyed (79%) said they began using their vehicles within three years, while most electric car users (87%) had less than one year of experience with their vehicles.
Electric car users scored the environmental impact of their vehicles 4.1 out of 5 and 3.8 on satisfaction, trust, and economic efficiency. Meanwhile, the vehicles’ quality and appearance only got a 3.5 out of 5.
One fourth of those surveyed said they wanted to see increasing use of electric bicycles and motorbikes. The number tripped for electric cars, at 61%.
