Emulation-commendation movements contribute to national socio-economic recovery and development: PM

(VOVWORLD) - All of Vietnam’s targets for the first half of the year were achieved, thanks to the contribution of emulation movements and commendation activities, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 6th meeting of the National Emulation-Commendation Council in Hanoi on Thursday.

Mr. Chinh, who is Chairman of the Council until 2026, said the national macro-economy was kept stable, international integration was deepened, and a peaceful, stable environment was maintained for national development, strengthening people’s trust in the Party and State.
PM Chinh said emulation movements made optimal use of potential and resources, created social consensus, positively influenced all social aspects, and boosted national socio-economic recovery and development.
He said it’s necessary for the Council to clarify targets and tasks for the rest of the year and find ways to enhance the efficiency of emulation-commendation activities.
