(VOVworld) – The new holder of the EU Council’s rotating presidency, Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, said EU negotiators have showed their unity and uncompromising stance on Brexit and the future of Britain-EU relations.

EU leaders have said Britain will not have such a good position after leaving the EU. The EU’s tough stance toward Britain is being widely noted as the time approaches for British Prime Minister Theresa May to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, a formal procedure for the UK’s withdrawal from the EU.
