Europe-based OVs raise funds for flood victims in central Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese expats based in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Ukraine have offered their support for flood victims in the country’s central region by participating in various fundraising campaigns.

Throughout the Czech Republic, Poland, and Ukraine, members of the Overseas Vietnamese (OV) community have pledged their support for flood victims in the nation’s central region. Recent efforts include the Vietnamese association in the Czech Republic handing over more than 68,840 USD to seven central localities.
The Vietnamese community in Poland raised 56,000 USD during a campaign aimed at helping individuals affected by recent flooding overcome the consequences of the devastation. A delegation of the Vietnamese association in Poland made a visit to and presented aid in support of the repair of schools and roads across the four central provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien-Hue.
The Embassy of Vietnam in Ukraine united with Vietnamese associations in the Eastern European country to launch a fundraising campaign to support flood-hit residents, with approximately 17,430 USD being raised in 11 days.
