Europe-based Vietnamese commercial counselors seek to develop markets
(VOVWORLD) - A conference gathering commercial counselors and heads of Vietnamese trade offices in Europe took place in Moscow on Tuesday.
Participants discussed economic and trade forecasts for Europe and their impacts on Vietnam, and recommended strategies for developing markets for Vietnamese goods in Europe.
They also discussed ways to improve market studies and build new mechanisms for economic, trade and industry cooperation between Vietnam and Europe. The conference explored ways to remove trade barriers and expand trade promotion.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong asked the conference to pay more attention to assisting exporters and actively responding to trade protection measures targeting Vietnamese exports. Trade counselors should work with big enterprises and associations to make full use of the free trade agreements Vietnam has signed and will sign in the near future.
