(VOVworld) – EU President Donald Tusk said that the leaders of 19 eurozone countries inked a deal for a 3^rd bailout for Greece at an emergency summit in Brussels, Belgium on Monday.

Tusk said after 17 hours of negotiation, they had agreed to provide a 3^rd bailout worth 86 billion euros over 5 years to keep Greece in the eurozone. He said relevant mechanisms were ready to implement the European Stability Mechanism for Greece including strict requirements for reform and financial support.
Tusk told the press that the agreement gives Greece an opportunity to avoid negative social and political consequences and requires Athens to meet its commitments and conditions.
