(VOVworld) – The EU delegation in Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry and Trade co-organized a conference on the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement, food safety and opportunities for the farm produce and food market.

Deputy Minister Cao Quoc Hung said the conference is an opportunity for EU and Vietnamese businesses to update information relating to the free trade agreement such as tax reduction roadmap and regulations on food and beverages safety, investment, distribution, and licensing. They will then establish trade relations to take advantage of opportunities created by the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.
