Exhibit on Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa, Truong Sa opens in Yen Bai
(VOVWORLD) -Nearly 100 maps and documents which prove that the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes belong to Vietnam are being exhibited in Yen Bai province.
The exhibit entitled “Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of Vietnam – historical and legal evidence” was opened on Friday by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Yen Bai provincial People’s Committee. Hoang Quynh Thoa, a local student, said: “Today, after watching this exhibit, I understand more of the history of our nation, particularly the islands of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa. I will disseminate the information on Vietnam’s sovereignty over the 2 archipelagoes to my friends and relatives.”
The exhibit will run until next Tuesday at Yen Bai Convention Center.
