(VOVworld) - More than 200 photos, exhibits and documents featuring Vietnam’s war of resistance against American troops are on display at an exhibition entitled “Great Spring 1975 Victory - the power of Vietnam”, which opened on Tuesday in Can Tho City.

Items on display at the museum of Military Zone 9 are divided into 4 categories: preparations for the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, the General Offensive and Uprising in 1975, the Echo of the Great Spring Victory, and pictures, documents, and artifacts about the Military Zone 9’s forces during the resistance war. Senior lieutenant-colonel Phan Hong Thanh, the director of the museum, said: “We’ve arranged the best possible conditions for young soldiers and military staff in Can Tho to visit the exhibition. We’ve also contacted local universities and schools such as Can Tho and Tay Do universities and Chau Van Liem high school to encourage students and youth union members to come and learn more about Vietnam’s Great Spring Victory in 1975.”

The exhibition will run until May 5^th.
