Ukraine’s tanks and bombers attacked the bases after Petro Porosohenko, Ukraine’s President, decided not to extend the ceasefire.
The Donetsk local government said that 4 civilians had been killed and 5 injured following an attack on a bus in Kramatorsk. Ukrainian army tanks appeared in Karlivka village and Marrinka town in Donetsk. Earlier on Tuesday, Poroshenko ordered the army to resume military operations against federalists in eastern Ukraine as the 10-day ceasefire ended.
