(VOVWORLD) - Three qualifying matches in Group A and B of the final round of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar took place on Monday.

In the first match of Group B the Dutch team scored 2 goals against Senegal by Gakpo and Klaassen at Al Thumama Stadium.
England thumped Iran 6-2 to to enjoy the perfect start to Group B. Jude Bellingham opened the scoring with a powerful header before Bukayo Saka slammed home the second and Raheem Sterling added a third just before the break after good work from Bellingham and Harry Kane.
The US started with a strong first half and a big goal from winger Tim Weah in minute 36 to go up 1-0, but gave up a late goal to Wales in minute 82. That ended up being the last one of the match, which ended in a 1-1 tie.
