The film week is jointly held by the Cinematography Department in coordination with film studios, film distributors, departments of culture, sports, and tourism, and cultural and arts centers in cities and provinces nationwide.

Other activities will also take place in Hanoi to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday. A national ceremony will be held on May 18 by city authorities and social organizations. Exhibitions are displaying photos and documents and a documentary film which honor President Ho’s life and contributions to the Vietnamese revolution.

There will also be art performances, cultural exchanges, talk shows, and incense offerings at President Ho relic sites and memorial areas across Vietnam.
