16 Chinese tourists entered Vietnam through Tan Son Nhat airport border gate on Thursday evening. During the eight day seven night tour in Vietnam, they will visit Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat, Nha Trang, and Mui Ne.
Tang Jian, a Chinese tourist, said he is excited to return to Vietnam after three years of COVID-19 restrictions.
"My last trip before COVID-19 was to Vietnam, so I want to choose Vietnam as the first destination to visit when tourism resumes. Vietnam has a long coastline, many beautiful beaches and many places I have not been to. I want to explore the coastline of Vietnam more," he said.
According to a representative of the BT Tour Event Organization and Community company, welcoming Chinese tourists is a positive sign, helping the tourism industry to recover and stabilize the Vietnamese tourism market.
