A Saigontourist Travel representative said that after three days, the Vietnamese embassy in Egypt and a working team from Ho Chi Minh City had finalised a list of nine tourists, who had suffered light injuries or uninjured in the bomb attack, to return home in the first batch.
According to Saigontourist Travel, the condition of three severely injured people being treated at Sheikh Zayed hospital has improved. They will likely return to Vietnam at the end of this week. A Saigontourist representative will remain at the hospital with the victims’ relatives to monitor their recovery.
