(VOVWORLD) - The first Southern Traditional Cakes Festival opened in Soc Trang city on Friday, featuring various activities to promote the unique traditional culinary cultures of the local ethnic groups.

Taking place until May 19, the festival features 150 booths and various spaces to showcase folk cakes and promote traditional dishes of different regions, OCOP products. The festival also highlights tourism opportunities in Soc Trang province.
During the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to explore 100 varieties of folk cakes from local processing facilities and culinary artisans in Soc Trang province and the neighborhood, as well as enjoy cultural and artistic performances.
