(VOVworld) – Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien is visiting and presenting 545 packages of medicines and first-aid tools to fisheries societies in Danang city, Bao Ninh commune of Quang Binh province, and Cam Xuyen district of Ha Tinh province in central Vietnam.

This is part of a program to help fishermen be able to care for their own health and assist others in emergency cases at sea. Fishermen will receive medical packages for their offshore fishing boats, participate in first-aid training classes, and receive medical check-ups.
