(VOVWORLD) - Commercial flights between Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh and Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City in the south will resume operations from Wednesday after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Van Don-Tan Son Nhat air route is operated by Bamboo Airways from Wednesday with three flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flights depart from Tan Son Nhat at 3:5 pm and from Van Don at 6:10 pm.
Vietjet Air will begin operating on Sunday, with one round trip flight daily, departing from Tan Son Nhat at 3:50 pm and from Van Don at 6:45 pm.
