(VOVWORLD) - The Hanoi People's Committee has agreed with the Ministry of Transport to re-operate a number of commercial flights to/from Noi Bai airport.
During a 10-day course from Sunday, flight routes between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and between Hanoi and Da Nang will resume one flight per day, with 50% limit on the number of passengers on board.
Hanoi authority has been cautious about reopening and asked the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control to allow it to continue strict measures to control mobility until the city completes the 2nd dose vaccination for Hanoi residents.
Passengers on flights are required to show a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 and negative testing results within 72 hours prior to departure, wear masks, keep a distance, use disinfectant, and make medical declaration. Entrants to Hanoi must undergo a 7-day period of quarantine in accommodation facilities designated by the city.
