The 720-meter flower street features hundred of flowers arranged in three sections: Spring in HCM City, Integration and Development, and Reaching to a Bright Future. Two-metre dog statues modeled after the Phu Quoc dog are placed at the entrance of the street and along the flowers lanes on the two sides. Huynh Minh Ngoc Thao, a visitor from Binh Duong province, said: "The flower street has long become an icon of Ho Chi Minh city, attracting a number of locals and people across the nation in the new year. The dogs are featured, presenting the year of the dog and demonstrating people’s wish for a new year full of luck."
