(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son will visit Cambodia on Wednesday and Thursday at the invitation of Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn.

The visit, which comes one month after President Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s state visit to Cambodia aims to realise prior agreements reached by the two countries, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang.
The two FMs will discuss activities to mark 55 years of diplomatic ties and other issues of shared concern and deepen the “good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability” between Vietnam and Cambodia, Ambassador Tang said.
