Foreign investment into M&A in Vietnam surges
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam saw busier M&A transactions in the first 4 months of this year as foreign investors purchased share worth a total of 2 billion USD, 52.6% higher than in the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office.
By the end of April, FDI into Vietnam increased to 12.3 billion USD. Singapore was Vietnam’s largest foreign investor with investment capital totaling 4.3 billion USD. China’s Taiwan ranked second with 646 million USD. China ranked third with 507 million USD. It was followed by South Korea, Japan, ASEAN countries, Europe, and the US.
