Foreign leaders continue congratulating Vietnam’s new President
(VOVWORLD) - Leaders of the Republic of Korea, Italy, Algeria, Morocco, Belarus, and Mozambique have sent congratulations to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on his election as President of Vietnam.

In his congratulatory message, Republic of Korean President Moon Jae-in expressed his belief that under the leadership of Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, Vietnam will constantly develop.
Italian President Sergio Mattarella said he believes that the relationship between Italy and Vietnam will flourish bilaterally and multilaterally, and within the framework of the Vietnam-EU cooperation. The development of relations between the two countries is based on a strategic partnership signed during a historic State visit to Italy by Mr. Trong in January 2013 and on 45 years of bilateral diplomatic ties.
Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika sent a congratulatory message to Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong.
Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko, King Mohamed VI of Morocco, and Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi have sent messages and letters of congratulation to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on his election as President of Vietnam.
