Foreign Ministry spokesperson: Dak Lak case handled in accordance with Vietnamese law
(VOVWORLD) - The investigation of the terrorism case in Dak Lak which occurred on June 11, 2023 was handled in accordance with Vietnamese law, said a spokesperson for the Vietnamese foreign ministry Pham Thu Hang.

At a regular press conference in Hanoi on Thursday, Hang said during the investigation, relevant agencies of Vietnam and the United States regularly exchanged information concerning related organizations and individuals following the laws of the two countries as well as international law.
In discussions with the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security, the US side affirmed that it does not tolerate any organization or individual involved in the case and is committed to supporting Vietnamese law enforcement forces in the investigation process to prevent the occurrence of similar incidents that could impact bilateral ties. Ms. Pham Thu Hang also affirmed that the Vietnamese Government always gives priority to ethnic minority areas, especially in socio-economic development and improving people’s lives.
At the press conference, spokesperson Pham Thu Hang also rejected and condemned the so-called Human Rights Watch for fabricating and falsifying the human rights situation in Vietnam in 2023.
