Mr. Hue was addressing a forum discussing challenges and solutions to expand the capital – financial market of Vietnam in Hanoi on Tuesday. He said the government will seek contributions at the forum to further boost the private sector.
"It’s necessary to accelerate equitization and state divestment and restructure the market to strengthen its capacity, while strengthening the banking system to increase its resistance to global fluctuations. We need to enhance inspection and monitoring to ensure transparency for the market, prevent fraud and black credits, and increase support for SMEs,” he stressed.
Forum participants praised the growth of Vietnam’s capital-financial market. They discussed methods to increase long-term and medium term investment, reduce dependence on foreign loans, and develop the bond market.
