President Emmanuel Macron called on rival political leaders and trade unions to help tamp down the anti-government anger that on Saturday led to some of the worst rioting in Paris in decades. In Parliament, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe called for the opposition camp’s responsibility for the security of French people and institutions.
