France, Cuba deepen bilateral relations

(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, met with some high-ranking French officials in Paris in the interest of expanding relations between France and Cuba. Cuban Foreign Minister Parrilla met with French President Francois Hollande, Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, Finance Minister Michel Sapin and Prime Minister Manuel Valls.
Following the talks, Fabius said France opposes the US embargo on Cuba and favors Cuba’s removal from the US’s list of State Sponsors of Terrorism. Parrilla said boosting relations with France is one of Cuba’s priorities and that Cuba’s future development model will create many opportunities for French enterprises.
