(VOVworld) -  New French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said that his government would focus on decreasing the state budget deficit and tax and regaining people’s trust rather than staging a revolution.
Valls made his remarks in his first televised speech as the country’s new prime minister on Wednesday. He said the new government had a responsibility to pay debts if it doesn’t want to lose the prestige of national sovereignty.
He added that Paris needed to maintain necessary public authority in the interests of national peace and stability.
