France pessimistic over Iran nuclear deal’s future
(VOVWORLD) - French President Emmanuel Macron said he believes US President Donald Trump will pull out of the Iran nuclear deal next month.
Near the end of his three-day state visit on Wednesday, Macron told US media that while he did not know specifically what Trump will decide, he believes the US leader "will get rid of this deal on his own, for domestic reasons." He said that he listened to President Trump’s case and it seemed that he was not very eager to defend it. Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has stressed the importance of an international deal on Iran's nuclear issue. The Japanese and Iranian Foreign Minister on Wednesday agreed in Brussels that all-party participation, including the US, is a prerequisite for the deal to be honored.
