France rejects Brexit delay
(VOVWORLD) - French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian on Sunday said France rejects any further delay of Britain's exit from the EU.

Mr. Le Drian told a French radio channel that the situation in the UK is worrying. The statement came after the UK Parliament last Saturday passed a bill to prevent a no-deal Brexit, which forced UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to propose a Brexit delay until the end of next January if both sides fail to reach a new agreement by October 19.
The Daily Telegraph on Sunday said that Mr. Johnson is preparing legal plans to stop delaying Brexit. Options include asking the EU to extend Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty. Johnson said the UK doesn’t want to delay Brexit after October.
