France, UK discuss Brexit, anti-terrorism
(VOVWORLD) - The UK is always welcome in the EU, said French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday after the British Prime Minister said Brexit negotiations will begin next week.
Macron said he respects British sovereignty and the British people have opted to leave the EU. British Prime Minister Theresa May promised to pursue the Brexit negotiations despite negotiations within the UK to establish a new government.

May and Macron announced a joint action plan to fight extremism on the Internet. Under the plan, they will increase pressure on internet providers and social networks to block hate speech and terrorist propaganda.
The plan includes penalties for tech enterprises that ignore this request for action.
