France urges powers to stop interfering in Lebanon
(VOVWORLD) - French President Emmanuel Macron called on all foreign powers to stop interfering in Lebanese politics and urged all involved parties in Lebanon to fully implement a pact to keep out of regional conflicts.

At the opening of an international meeting on Lebanon in Paris on Friday, Macron said it’s essential that all Lebanese parties and regional actors respect the principle of non-interference for Lebanon to be protected from regional crises.
Talking about US President Donald Trump’s decision to officially recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Macron called on involved parties to show restraint and responsibility. He said the decision should not help create instability in the region.
