(VOVworld) – The Van Canh Village Friendship Committee of the French province of Essonne has held a Vietnam Day to highlight Vietnam’s development since 1975.

The event was also aimed at raising funds to support Vietnamese Agent Orange/dioxin victims in Van Canh Friendship Village on the outskirts of Hanoi. President of the French-Vietnamese Friendship Association Daviot Gerard briefed visitors on the association’s activities to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries. Delegates showed their support for Ms. Tran To Nga’s lawsuit against 26 American companies and called on those responsible to compensate the victims.
