(VOVworld)- The French interior minister on Tuesday warned of an Islamist terror threat to the Euro 2016 football championship, to be held in France this summer.

Bernard Cazeneuve was speaking a day before a cabinet meeting on plans to further extend France's state of emergency, imposed after the Islamic State group’s attack on Paris in November that killed 130 people. The French Interior Minister said EURO 2016- a great international festive event- represents a risk because there is possibility that terrorist group still target France. He urged the use of all means possible to prevent risks.
