Speaking in Thursday’s meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Ottawa, Valls said US President Barack Obama was elected by the world while Donald Trump is rejected by the world. Trudeau only reemphasized his long-standing message that Canada will work with whomever the US people choose as their president in the upcoming election.
The same day, the US first lady Michelle Obama delivered a speech blasting the Republican nominee Donald Trump, calling his words and actions toward women shocking and cruel. Speaking at a rally for Hillary Clinton in Manchester, New Hampshire, the first lady said the youth should not be influenced by comments by the real estate tycoon and that it’s time to end this. She also praised the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton as suitable to become the next US President for her character and commitment throughout her election campaign.
The Washington Post on Thursday became the latest US newspaper to endorse Hillary Clinton for the White House, saying it was convinced by her capacity and performance. It also said the Republican Donald Trump was unqualified as a presidential candidate.
