(VOVworld) - French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has announced he is standing for next year's presidential election. Mr Valls will resign on Tuesday to face other contenders from the Socialist party in January’s primary election.
The Health Minister and the Minister of Home Affairs are expected to replace Mr. Valls for 6 months until the parliamentary election which will follow the presidential election next year. Prime Minister Valls is the front-runner among 7 Socialist party candidates.
