French Senate will consider PCA with Vietnam

Prime Minister Dung said Vietnam wants to boost its strategic partnership with France in politics, diplomacy, economics, trade, investment, tourism, defense, military technology, culture, education, and training. He praised France’s successful hosting of the UN conference on climate change and said he hopes France will help Vietnam implement the Paris agreement on climate change. He asked France to quickly ratify the Vietnam-EU Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) and support the early signing of the EU-Vietnam FTA.
