(VOVworld) – A friendship border exchange between Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and China was held in Hanoi on Saturday. The event, attended by President Tran Dai Quang, was organized by the Command Center of Vietnam’s Border Security Force and Vietnam television.

Major General Hoang Xuan Chien, Commander of Vietnam’s Border Security Force, said: “Increased friendship and solidarity will create opportunities for national development. Cooperation will help resolve border issues, prevent cross-border crime, and ensure border security. Cooperation will also improve mutual understanding and trust.”

The program provided an opportunity for border security forces to share experience in border management, helping to build a shared border of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.
