Exports to EU are estimated to increase 10% by 2025 |
Since June 2012, the EU and Vietnam have gone through 13 official rounds of negotiations and a number of mid-term sessions. Both are in the final stage to conclude the negotiations and sign the trade deal.
At the seminar, managers, policy-makers, associations, experts, and business representatives exchanged information and experience and learned more about opportunities and challenges when the agreement comes into force.
They expected the Vietnam-EU FTA will boost institutional reforms, open up the domestic market, improve the business climate, and better labour and environment law compliance.
