(VOVworld)- A gala titled “Shining Vietnamese strength” opened in My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on Saturday. The gala was successful in creating great interaction between the audiences and the host. Nick Vujicic, the inspirational Australian speaker without arms or legs, attended the event. 23 outstanding examples of disabled people were honoured at the event. The organizers including Vietnam Television, Thanh Nien newspaper, and Hoa Sen Corrugated iron Group presented gifts worth 30 million each for the honourees. The gala aimed to inspire passion for work and study in the community, especially among those with disabilities. The message was a focal point of Vujicic’s speeches during his trip to Vietnam last year.
