(VOVworld)- A recent poll shows that 50 days ahead of the US Presidential election, Republican candidate Mitt Romney is narrowing distance with his rival Democrat President Barak Oabama. According to a poll by Reuters/Ipsos, 48% of 1,200 voters questioned from September 12 to 17 said they would vote Obama in for another term and 43% said they would support Mitt Romney. The result showed that the 65 year old former state governor Mitt Romney has cut the President’s lead from a high of 7% back to 5%.

President Obama in a taped interview on the Late Show with CBS front-man David Latterman warned former governor Romney of the importance of solving all problems that currently face the country. Obama said one thing he learned from being President is that you represent a country, so if you want to become a President, you must serve the interests of all the people. He recalled that when he won the election 4 years ago, he promised to listen to all the people including those who did not vote for him.
