Garment producers pledge sufficient face masks for domestic use
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese garment manufacturers and distributors have vowed to ensure face mask supply for the domestic market to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Cao Huu Hieu, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex), said the company is able to produce 100 million anti-bacterial fabric masks and 30 million medical masks a month.
“In addition to garment and textile production, we are the lead producers of anti-bacterial fabric masks for domestic use and export,” said Hieu.
Than Duc Viet, Director General of Garment Corporation 10, said the company will increase supply for the domestic market.
“We will sell medical masks at our store chains and through other distributors across Vietnam. We’ll negotiate with foreign importers to prioritize the domestic market,” said Viet.
