General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sends congratulatory message to President of South Africa
(VOVWORLD) - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong has sent a congratulatory message to Cyril Ramaphosa, Chairman of the African National Congress (ANC) for being re-elected as President of the Republic of South Africa for the 2024-2029 term.

On Friday the South African National Assembly announced that it had elected Cyril Ramaphosa of the ruling African National Congress (ANC) party as the President of South Africa with 283 votes in favor out of a total of 339 votes.
Mr. Ramaphosa will be sworn in next week in the capital Pretoria and will then announce a new cabinet.
