(VOVworld) – German Chancellor Angela Merkel paid a short visit to Budapest of Hungary on Monday to discuss bilateral ties and a number of key issues.

Speaking after a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Merkel said Germany will not give weapons to Ukraine, adding that the conflict in eastern Ukraine can’t be resolved by military means. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Orban put forward the same statement. These statements came amidst means of communications said that the US is considering its weapons supply to Ukraine.
