Over the past 24 hours, the US has remained the most severe country with over 58,000 cases, followed by India and the UK. Russia reported the highest death rates with 796 cases.
Global COVID-19 infections have reduced by 4% over the past week. The infection rate went down 20% in Africa, 16% in South America, 7% in Pacific, 4% in Asia, and 3% in Europe.
Asia has the highest infection number with over 71 million cases, followed by Europe, North America, and South America.
