Reuters, AFP, CNN, BBC, The New York Times, and The Guardian have released stories, videos, and photos of the 150m-long bridge, which looks like a strip of silk across the sky, supported by a pair of giant hands.
CNN praised the design and the New York Times said, “In the mountains of central Vietnam, a colossal pair of hands lifts a golden thread of walkway high above the clifftops, as if the mountain itself has sprouted limbs.” A BBC caption said, “Vietnam bridge: Walking through a god's hands”. Bored Panda said it looks like something from “Lord of the Rings”, while the Huffington Post called it “the coolest bridge ever”. It has been named to The Guardian’s list of most striking pedestrian bridges and The Independent’s top 10 most incredible bridges.
