Prime Minister Phuc praised all government members’ efforts which have resulted in achievement of honor, saying, “The macro economy has been stable, GDP in all stages has increased, 1.4 times higher than in 2015. Discipline has been strengthened with positive budget collection in Q1. Growth model has shifted from width to depth, opening up new opportunity for bilateral and multilateral opportunities.”

The Prime Minister emphasized on positive social economic development since early this year, especially in economy, society and environment. He laid out future tasks, “Ministries and localities should have their own programs of actions. Besides resolute efforts in pandemic control, vaccine production research should be continued, vaccine passport initiatives should be promoted for investment attraction. The Ministry of Defense must keep tight border control to prevent illegal immigration.”

The Prime Minister expected cabinet members, whether would continue to work or retire, should continue to serve national development and the people.
