Government to earmark 900 million USD for local medical systems
(VOVWORLD) - The PM has approved an investment program worth 900 million USD for local medical systems until 2020.

The program includes 3 main projects: building new modern health centers; upgrading hospital infrastructure in provinces and districts; and providing medical equipment appropriate for health centers. It will also help coastal health centers carry out the marine medical systems development project. The program is expected to contribute to meeting the target of 26.5 patient beds for every 10,000 people by 2020.
