(VOVworld)- The third Conference and Exhibition on ‘European Green Business Solutions for Vietnam’ (Green - Biz 2013) opened today/ on Thursday in Hanoi, focusing on current challenges such as industrial, , environmental and noise pollution and energy saving and how to respond to those challenges.

The event was co-organized by the European Business Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Local and international governmental officials, representatives from corporations, academics, and interested citizens gathered to discuss strategies and opportunities to boost the development of a green business industry in Vietnam.
Addressing the event, Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), Deputy Minister Nguyen Cam Tu said that was a great opportunity for Vietnam to learn from the experiences of European on green economic issue. Tu said: “By co-hosting this event, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has sent a message of support to sustainable business for a green economy. I hope that Vietnamese and European businesses will take full advantage of this event to seek new cooperation opportunities, as well as to exchange information and experiences on green economic development in Vietnam.”
